Bonus: Part One

While playing, you may have have noticed that there are some bonuses in game. Well, good job. Bonuses are the best way to improve your game.

How bonuses works?

You can play with normal stuff, using your energy everyday, visiting friends, etc. Haven't you thought that the game is a little slow? Actually it is. Require weeks to do what you could do on a few days with bonuses. You can play more, level up faster, and do more quest without even waste anything. That is what bonuses does, if you use them and exploit them properly, you will be buying that item you always wanted, or completing quests faster than your friends.

Let's start with basics.

I'm visiting Bella's house now, and you can see that in the energy bar I have a message that says Bonus 5. This means that I have 5 energy free, to do whatever I want. This will happen with all your neighbors, at least once a day.

USE THAT, IT'S FREE.

You only have 15 energy by your own, but every single neighbours means 5 energy more. Suppose you have 20 neighbors (which is a little amount), so every day you have 100 energy to waste on anything on your neighbors, with 40 neighbors you'll have 200 energy, etc. What I recommend is that every time you need to do something that uses energy, go to your neighbors and use your bonuses. This will give you a lot of free energy (free experience and free simoleons), and allows you to use your energy in your own house, leveling up the skills.
I'll give you more tips on how to maximize the bonuses soon. Good luck!

Second Step: Neighbors

As important as the energy are neighbors. You need to get a lot of neighbors so you can progress in game.

Why are neighbors so important?

Basically, neighbors will give you objects for your quest and to complete items. All the game you will need objects and the easiest way to get them are neighbors. Also, neighbors are essential to get energy and experience.

My neighbors are useless.

Well, maybe you can make some neighbors with your facebook friends, but the most of them are actually inactives, play for one week and then stop to play, or others will play occasionally. You won't be able to complete quest or get the items without actives neighbors.

Where can I get neighbors?

Since most of your facebook friends won't play as much as you want, you need to get some actives neighbors, and the place to search for it is the playfish forum.

http://forum.playfish.com/forumdisplay.php?f=477

You need registration to see that forum.

Try to post your play time and activity so people can know you are a useful neighbor.

How many actives neighbors do I need?

This is relative. As much as you want. With 20 actives neighbors is great, 10 is fine. Try to send request or objets everyday. If you don't need anything from your neighbors one day, send them energy and make a list of your active neighbors, but always use the daily request. Send gifts, help them with their quests and items. Look for their facebook profiles and click on the bonuses and gifts.

Protip

Instead of searching everyone's profiles to click bonuses and help them, you can go to the News Feed and click here:

Notice that I actually changed the language of my Facebook, because I had the new home page. I chose some random language so I could see the previous home page. Then, I clicked in recent news and chose "Games". That will show the games news of your friends, and will give you all their requests and bonuses.

Neighbors can make you easily level up in game, progress the quests and complete items, so if you want to play and level up faster, this is the way.

Basic Tip: Energy

Before you read this, it's supposed that actually you've started to play The Sims Social Facebook Game and did the basics stuff, got the initial quests and visited some neighbors. So, you don't have energy now, what can you do?

It is a few tips that can bring your energy back over and over, maybe it take more time to do this but energy is the most BASIC in The Sims Social, so you have to know how to get energy. Once you know how to get energy, you can do more quest, make more simoleons, etc. All game is about energy.

1. Time is energy.

Have you already noticed about the energy bar? So here you can see that energy actually regenerates. It will give you 1 energy in 5 minutes. The basic energy count is 15, so you'll have your complete bar from 0 to 15 after 75 min, that is 1 hour and 15 minutes. Theorically, if you could play 24 hours, you'll have 19,2 full bars of energy that is 288 total energy. Assuming that you'll use all that energy on experience, you will get at least, 2880 total experience. In high levels, that means that you will get one level per day. Perhaps, maybe you wont be able to play 24 hours, maybe you need to sleep or eat, whatever. Hopefully that isn't the only way to get energy. But I recommend, that if you are gonna play, connect to the game every 1:15 hours you can, so always will be on full energy (at this point, because there are more ways you get energy, so play more than one time in 1:15 hours).

That is the first tip about energy, I'll give you more coming soon.
